General description:

  • Leading designated global team within Business Unit (SL) and fulfilling its Qualitative, Financial and Project targets defined by higher management.
  • Team has global scope of responsibility – Global steering of automation activities and thus supporting GxUs to achieve their automation target within all clients international Points of Production and Local business units in each country, where client operates.
  • Leading ICT architects, Senior software developers and Software developers.


Generic managerial accountabilities:

  • Ensure delivery of team services/solutions to clients in agreed quality and quantity structure according agreed contracts
  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients and other stakeholders for effective communication
  • Motivate and develop people in own team to be able to deliver better quality and fulfill expectations of customers and top managers
  • Continuously improve automation activities, processes and products/services in own area, propose improvements in related areas and implement corporate improvements programs in order to save the costs and be efficient
  • Plan, adjust and control financial and other business plans to be able to effectively manage business of own team
  • Develop and implement mid-term tactics for new business pipe-in, manage pipe-in on project basis and sign-off take over with process owners
  • Operationally manage critical situations and solve business-as-usual escalations to provide seamless operation and effective service to top managers and customers
  • Self-improvement

Job specific accountabilities:

  • Prepare and implement tactics for operation of own team
  • Actively steer capacity of team resources (ICT architects, Senior software developers and Software developers) and quality of results to ensure quality improvements within all TSI locations and effective operation
  • People development and motivation
  • Continuous control of team performance and undertaking of improvement measures
  • Advises and supports the team members with respect to commissioning, cost optimizing, efficiency increase and customer satisfaction
  • Transforming the Company Strategy into the daily tasks of the team
  • Organization and distribution of tasks within team
  • Rollout, cooperation & supporting activities from top management
  • Tracks measures for improvement identified within the respective management KPIs

Management scope


  • Manages the team of Global ITO Automation team (ICT architects, Senior software developers and Software developers)(15+)
  • Responsible for Production Variance of the team (30k monthly)



  • High school degree


  • 3 years within the field


  • English B2
  • German advantage


  • Detailed knowledge of ICT environment
  • Valid certification in given technology
  • Overview of the ITIL processes
