Job Description

On this role you will lead and manage specific highly prioritized New Product Introduction (NPI) projects across clients manufacturing network and Third Party Manufacturers.

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of Continence Care operational project activities, as the main interface between R&D and Manufacturing, in accordance with agreed upon deliverables, timings and budgets.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Working with cross functional project teams to provide a coordinated and collaborative approach to New Product Introduction
  • Project management and coordination of the wider Global Operations & Quality teams to ensure delivery of project on time and on budget
  • Establishment of communication schedules to update pre-determined stakeholders on the progress of the project and establish steering & escalation teams
  • Evaluate and secure resources to support project feasibility through to delivery
  • Create detailed work plans for assigned projects, develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities, monitor the progress of the project
  • Identification of roadblocks/issues within projects
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
  • Creation of operational strategy documents including assessing manufacturing requirements
  • Providing operational cost estimates to input into project business cases, evaluating and quantifying the production costs that will be incurred on finished goods through stage gates of the project
  • Determine the objectives and measures (KPIs)
  • Develop processes, forms and records to document project activities. Optimise to meet the needs of advanced operations
  • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured

Experiences:

  • At least 3-5 years engineering experience and/or significant technical or scientific experience working within manufacturing and/or with automated equipment – preferred
  • Experience in project management working with cross functional teams either in Operations Projects or Product Development projects
  • Experience working with Business Process models eg Stage Gate Processes. Experience with SCRUM based sprint planning is desirable
  • An understanding of Medical Device Regulations and CFR, and experience with Design Control – preferred, not required
  • A project management certification e.g. PMP, APM, Prince 2 or equivalent is welcomed

Qualifications:

  • University Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or scientific discipline
  • A high level of proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, database software, SAP, MS Outlook
  • Project Management
  • Communicative level of English language
